Widening of Interstate 4

In order to widen Interstate 4 in Orlando, Florida, a series of tied-back retaining walls were designed and constructed. The walls consisted of steel H-piles and lagging and were tied-back with soil anchors. The walls were required to maintain bridge support and heavy interstate and bridge traffic. Construction of the walls was provided by Hayward Baker, Inc.
