RONALD A. RAYMOND
CADD Service

Mr. Raymond has 18 years experience in providing design and drafting support to professional engineering staff. His experience includes the areas of civil, geotechnical, mining, and environmental engineering and covers both manual and computer aided drafting & design. Mr. Raymond has an extensive background in topographic mapping, including earthwork volumes for cut/fill, design of spoil storage and earthen dam structures, cross section and profiling, and road design. His daily activities include the use of CADD to prepare maps, design plans, and technical drawings for civil and environmental engineering projects such as subsurface investigations and coal slurry impoundment designs. He also uses CADD to provide data to the engineering staff for use in computer modeling for stability, seepage, and subsidence analyses.

Mr. Raymond currently uses AutoCAD and SurvCADD for design work and to prepare drawings and topographic surface models. He also has experience in Intergraph, Computer Vision, Softdesk, and ESRI CADD and GIS software. Mr. Raymond also uses a variety of business software, such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics programs. He has extensive experience in evaluating, purchasing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
