ROGER W. CECIL, P.E.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Mr. Cecil has more than ten years of experience on geotechnical projects including design of waste disposal facilities, remediation projects (CERCLA), slurry containment facilities, deep and shallow foundations, earth retaining structures, landslide repairs, and subgrade improvement systems. His responsibilities on these projects included project management; engineering investigations; design analyses; preparation of design reports, construction drawings, specifications, and permit applications; construction quality control monitoring; and geotechnical instrumentation monitoring.  Mr. Cecil has developed specialized expertise in slope stability modeling, finite element analyses, rock mechanics, liquefaction assessments, and subsidence assessments.  Mr. Cecil’s field engineering experience is primarily in the area of construction monitoring for high hazard dams, slope stabilization and ground modification projects, and placement of engineered fills.
