GARY T. BRILL, PE
Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Mr. Brill has over eighteen years of experience providing high quality engineering consulting services and managing a wide range of geotechnical and geotechnically-related projects. As previous Branch Manager of a large Geotechnical Group, (over 20 geotechnical engineers, geologists and technicians), Mr. Brill was responsible for coordinating and assigning staff and resources to respond to the needs of clients and provide QA/QC review for projects.  He has designed and managed the construction of several high-hazard classification coal refuse disposal dams for the coal industry and is familiar with the federal regulations and regulatory officials.  In addition, Mr. Brill is experienced with the design, analysis and construction of specialty state-of-the-art foundation systems and a variety of earth retaining/landslide repair structures in a wide range of complex geologic environments.  Further, he has prepared subsurface exploration programs and laboratory testing programs for a large variety of projects.  Finally, he has a strong background with conventional soils testing through his thesis work and by providing QA/QC for geotechnical laboratories.
