Engineers are designers and builders of the quality of life. We validate this claim by providing leadership to community service efforts to help people who could not otherwise afford our services. We participated in a community service project with about 100 other volunteers. Tasks completed included painting a historic church, cleaning up trash dumps, cleaning a clinic, installing signs at historic cemeteries and cleaning tombstones.
