Jacobs EM Team hosted our meeting at their Oak Ridge, TN office. We were treated to a demonstration that included groundwater modeling showing contaminant plumes, collection of the groundwater (pumping and piping), treatment of the groundwater, and reintroducing the water back into the environment. We touched on the ecological and economical issues of such a clean up.
Presentations were led by Charles Hyer PE, Head of Environmental Engineering; Ken Cruikshank PE, Head of Design; Glen Schmidt, Chemical Engineer; and Ken Black, Hydrogeologist.
