VOLUNTEER EFFORTS
GA personnel support the Coal Creek Watershed Foundation, Inc. (CCWF).  CCWF was organized to obtain federal grant money from the Office of Surface Mining (OSM) to reclaim abandoned mined lands and improve the quality of life in the Coal Creek watershed in Anderson County, Tennessee.  The effort has grown to include much more.  Visit www.coalcreekaml.com for more details.

and ASFE among other groups.


Geo/Environmental Associates participates in the Green Power Switch the Tennessee Valley’s new green power initiative, which uses sunlight, wind, and landfill gas to produce electric power.  At TVA's  current rate of construction, Green Power Switch will replace coal in about 200 years when our nation's coal supplies are depleted.
